Based on the very popular 427 KMS/SC, the modern design by Kirkham Motorsports now adds some beautiful new craftsmanship to this sleek aluminum body and it looks even more like a jet fighter than before. This new design has got some curvaceous fenders and a brand new LeMans style hard top which cuts down on the wind drag. The top can even be removed and you’ve got yourself a heart stopping convertible with a roll bar to boot. Don’t forget the fiery fender flares to show off on those sunny weekend cruises and maybe even as you perch the runway and blister the skies.
Kirkham Motorsports has really outdone themselves this time after originally coming up with the replica of the Cobra that borrowed designs from a Polish fighter jet. It shouldn’t be surprising that these guys know how to make a car that can virtually fly and the LeMans may just be that car. The interior proudly displays a Moto-Lita 15" wood laminate steering wheel and some sweet leather seats that are going to beg the ladies to join you for flight. The total machine weighs in at about 2400 pounds with original style suspension, top loader, differential, brakes and a 427 FE with iron block and heads. Other options include a stainless steel frame and Girling style brakes and the company offer custom factory assembly. You are going to break the sound barrier when this little racecar takes off from the runway and disappears over the horizon.
