It's time to take a trip down memory lane once again - this time all the way back to 1966. It was at this time that a famed sports car designer, Mr. Giotto Bizzarrini designed a classic car which would go on to take the world by storm.

This initial design was based upon complementary ideas from a whole host of areas. For example, Bizzarrini was surely influenced by the Ferrari line of cars as he worked there for 5 years. In fact, in 1962 he was single handedly responsible for the design and engineering of the Ferrari 250 GTO.

The latest release is the Bizzarrini P538 prototype - a super car which will surprisingly be produced a fair few times to be transported around the world. Whilst it may not be the best time to be marketing expensive, luxury vehicles (due to the current economic situation) - it seems that the Bizzarrini team have confidence in this model. And so they should! Take a look at a few of these stats.

Bizzarrini P538 Prototype - Quick Stats:

Aside from being stunningly attractive, the performance statistics are likely to blow you away as well.

Engine: Corvette - 7.0L LS7
Output: Estimated 505 BHP
Weight: 1,000 to 1,200 KG

Whilst these statistics, coupled with the increasingly modernized design all add together to create a sports car of truly new age proportions, the roots of this car do stay true to the original 1966 release.

The differences? Well, almost everything, except for the the concept. It's still very much a classic car at heart, even though all the features have been progressively upgraded over time. For example, the engine continues to become more and more powerful, with the latest update taking it from a 5.3L Corvette to a 7.0L Corvette. Small changes (well, quite a substantial difference in this case), can really make or break new car models. Just take Porsche for example - their design team seem to have fallen asleep, whilst the engineers have progressively tried to fit upgraded machinery in to the same car body.

One thing is for sure with the P538 prototype - with a track record as decent and successful as some of the top super car makers, this latest release promises to be better than ever.
