Leisurely cruising the web recently on a sunny afternoon when I road across an address that grabbed my attention and prompted me to hit the brakes, coming to a full stop on M1stang.com.
The site, which not only shows you how to transform an everyday Mazda Miata into a custom-built all-steel roadster that will rev up the engines of any onlooker, but also provides information on two US locations where you can take your Miata and have it maxed out, creating a M1 Stang Convertible.
For just under $13,000 (and your Mazda Miata, of course), you can have the car of your dreams, but you will have to put down some extra cash for a smokin' paint job because that is not included in the $13,000 price tag.
According to information I found on the site, there are actually two locations where you can have this done, with one located in St. Augustine, FL and the other in Englishtown , NJ.
The M1Stang team in both locales actually modifies all the existing wiring, installs all body components, chrome parts, bumpers, lights, etc. In short, they do it all, while you, my friend need only drop off your Mazda Miata and be prepared to pick up one head-turning ‘Stang Convertible.
Of course, all the parts are after-market and have been extensively modified. You can also keep all after-parts if you are willing to add $1,000 to the $12,999 price (but, once again, don't forget to add more for the paint job).
So, if your thinking about trading in your Miata, or perhaps feel it is past its prime and lacking in any real value (hope I'm not rolling over ay toes here), then give this site a look. Heck, even if you don't have a Mazda Miata, these after shots of a Miata expertly morphed into a Mustand Convertible are a must-see.
