Portland Historics

Allen English of Portland Oregon owns this stunning Mark II Roadster from Factory Five. I love everything about this car, so much so, it became the inspiration for the look of my own car.

This was a very nicely finished Factory Five replica at the Portland Historic Races. The paint was great and I like the carbon fiber looking spats.

This was another great looking car at the Portland Historics. I was quite suprised at how good this Factory Five cobra looks in bright yellow with two black stripes. 

A beautifully finished Cobra kit car. I am not sure which kit was used, but it looks a little different than a Factory Five. The BF Goodrich tires look great on those rims.

The were a lot of great cars at the Portland Historic Races. Here is a few more of them, most from the Portland area Cascade Cobras club.

Here is a shot of just a few of the cars from Cascade Cobras, a very popular and active club in Portland, Oregon. They had more than 20 cars in attendance.

I was walking around the pits with my son Justin when we stumbled upon an original 427 Shelby Cobra. It was only the second original I had ever seen so it was quite a find for us. The first one was in a museum in Las Vegas.
