Around Town
At 3:00am on a cold snowy January morning a truck pulling a car trailer backed into my driveway to deliver a freshly completed Mark II Roadster, constructed by Peter Jacobsen in Calgary, Alberta using a kit from Factory Five Racing.
Since that time I have put over 10,000 miles on the car and here are a few shots I captured having some fun around town.
1
James Martell, Publisher of the Kit Car Connection cruising around in his Shelby Cobra replica in his hometown of White Rock BC Canada.
2
Getting ready to head out for a cruise on a cold Vancouver winter day, however I stayed warm with a good coat, heater and heated seats.
3
A nice front and rear shot of a couple of Cobras hanging out. It was a great picnic hosted by the gang at the Vancouver chapter of the Shelby American Club.
4
A freshly restored and very rare Hertz GT 350H Mustang rental car was there for all to see. This was one amazing car. It's hard to believe they were available for rent in the 60s.
5
There were a number of amazing cars at the Shelby Club picnic. Here's a great shot of two Shelby GT 500 Mustangs owned by club members.
6
Here's a shot of the car attending a picnic hosted by the Vancouver chapter of Shelby American Club. You can see the Cobra is in good company with the Shelby GT350 and GT500 Mustangs.
