It's fun to look back at the photos that were taken during the building of the Cobra. Here are a number of shots in various stages of completion.

The EFI is installed. It looks great and allowed me to keep the vintage look air cleaner, but with the performance and reliabilty of a electronic fuel injected set-up.

Here is a shot during the build of the front suspension and brakes of the Factory Five Mark II Roadster #4206. Everything is clean and brand new. You can also see the 4 into 4 headers as well.

Here's all the body parts and panels pulled together for a final shot before they are added to the car. I can't wait to see her fully dressed.

I had heard stories about the prep work needed to properly prepare a Factory Five Roadster for paint. I understand that it wasn't all that painful and I am very happy with the finished product.

After much searching my wife Arlene and I finally decided on Indy Blue Metalic Pearlessence for FFR #4206. It was a difficult decision and we are happy with the finished look.

A nice shot of the detail that Peter Jacobsen put into the installation of the fuel injected 302 small block crate engine from Calgary based Western Motorsport.
I particularily love the look of the Cobra air filter and valve cover.

Western Motorsport 5.0 short block crate engine with "vintage look" EFI with ceramic coated intake, aluminum fuel rails, Mallory high pressure fuel regulator, SDS injection system, MSD coil and ignition system, polished AccuFab 4-barrel throttle body, TFS twisted wedge heads, push rods and Track Heat cam shaft, Crane roller rockers, Ford racing "Cobra" air filter and valve covers, nitrous system including ZEX TPS switch, HPM solid motor mounts, oil cooler and dual fans.

The Factory Five Racing Mark II Roadster has a set of Khumo Ecsta Supra 712 performance tires (17x8 & 17x9.5) on a polished set of Team 3 wheels.

The go cart stage of the build is complete. Everything is looking great. It's an exciting stage to be at in the process of building a Cobra replica. The Factory Five Racing kit is impressive.
