Freestyle Fun Buggy is Nice on the Budget

It started out as an off road Mini-based kit car but the ABS Freestyle has now passed the SVA test and is running free on the public highways. Developed in the UK, the Freestyle is an inexpensive kit car that almost anyone can put together and it can tackle the toughest terrain you throw at it.  You don’t need any “vast” mechanical knowledge to build it and all the parts can be obtained at very reasonable prices. Let’s take a closer look and see why you and your budget will both be having a lot of fun with this car.

Car Meets Cycle in Carver One

It sits and steers like a car but it corners and banks like a motorcycle.  This is the newest technological leap known as the Carver One.  It may look funny at first but this is actually one tough vehicle.  Its got some incredible technology built into the design that will make you look twice.

New drivers have already made claim to the amazing handling if this modern miracle which makes you feel like you are flying in a low-flying jet. It’s the amazing tilting capability which is combined with the handling of a sports car that makes for an amazing experience behind the wheel. You’re going to feel like you are flying and never want to drive another car again.

1937 Cord Cabriolet Replica

Back in the 1930’s, the Cord Cabriolet was an exclusive automobile that was reserved for the few wealthy individuals who had been fortunate enough to weather the storm of the first Depression.  Now, almost 100 years later, you can still set yourself up as one of the few privileged individuals who will be ready for the next big “Depression” of the 21st century.  This can be done with a 1937 Cord Cabriolet replica which has "period accurate" body molds carefully taken from an original Cord 812 Cabriolet itself.  There may be nothing to be depressed about after you take a look at such a great car.

Lamborghini Replica in New Zealand

New Zealand might be the last place you would think to look for a Lamborghini replica but the changing economy has actually made these little islands at the edge of the world into a major competitor in the global market. Americans are already buying back many of their old racecar models from New Zealand and asking for them to be restored.  Another big market is the Japanese who love the authentic commitment that companies like Countess Mouldings are known for.  High on their list is the Lamborghini Countach from CM which now reproduces an authentic replica with extremely high standards.

The Mystery of the Aston Replica

Tagged:  •

There is a lot of mystery around this replica which is why it probably has the same kind of intrigue afforded to the original Aston Martin. The Aston Martin Replica first began as the “DBR Replica Project” about 10 years ago but it was more recently taken up by AS Motorsports in 2007.  All mystery aside, these boys have improved the brakes, suspension and structure of the car and made it into a truly amazing vehicle.  Then they have farmed out the panels and bodywork to the highly qualified company “CC Panels” to complete a well-rounded race car for the ages.    For those of you who don’t know it already, the Aston Martin 2-Litre Sports car was originally sold by Aston Martin from 1948 to 1950.

The Shocking Rebirth of the Cheetah

“Shocking” doesn’t really describe the reaction you get when you take a look at this car. Bill Thomas was the man behind the original design for a car that literally went up in flames when his factory burned down in the late 1960’s. It was almost as if this car was too good to be true until recently when the new millennium has brought forth the rebirth of an amazing vehicle that literally stuns the senses when you see it. The Cheetah has now been reborn in Oswega, Illinois and it is a quality, authentic reproduction of the original that never got its chance to be truly appreciated.

Bail Out Auto Manufacturers, Or Maybe Everybody Build Your Own?

Tagged:  •

The American economy and general style of living is at the onset of what is being called the most sweeping set of shifts and changes since the industrial revolution. Necessity is dictating that all of us rethink our product use and cycles in every category, and seriously come to grips with how we impact our home planet in the process. With the details of financially bridging the major car manufacturers in the States under consideration, I think an already growing trend towards individually built automobiles will exponentially develop into a major consumer alternative.
