The Stalker V6 Definitely Commanding Some Sex Appeal

The Stalker V6 is hailed to be the ultimate street and track machine, a kit car replica inspired by the Lotus 7. It's actually hard to say something bad about this little beauty as she commands a lot of low maintenance sex appeal. Let's face it, there are certainly a lot of impressive elements here. First, the torque and flexibility of the engine is combined with an overall light weight in the space frame which really makes this an impressive vehicle. Manufacturer's boast of a frame weight which includes the dash hoop and the mounts for engine, steering rack, transmission and headlamps at only 150 lbs. You can imagine the acceleration here and the overall geometry is built so as to give it a natural stability without compromising the maneuverability.

The look of the Staler is also a sight to behold. The replica status of the Lotus 7 is achieved in an amazing form and it is actually quite easy to find all the parts for this little firecracker as they are all relatively cheap. Amateurs can afford to get their hands dirty and even salvage the house and their wife's nest egg before she kicks them out on their butts as many newbies have already experienced when they try to do a little sidework! Now you can show off your prize possession without having to drive it back to your buddy's house for storage.

In terms of the actual parts, the drive train of the Stalker comes from a mid 80's-90's Chevy S-10 pickup which is well-built, easy to locate and cheap. Once you get it on the road, the acceleration is amazing as you shift this car into 2nd gear and witness the cornering which is a sheer delight. With rack and pinion steering and an independent front suspension, the Stalker can reach a top speed just over 150 mph and has recently won a competition in 2007 at the SCCA Solo Nationals. Dennis Brunton also made the N.A.S.A. Time Trial at Mid Ohio and won the Run and Gun Pro Class Top Dog that same year. To put the cherry on the sundae, this impressive little sportster also took the Time Trial Unlimited Track Record at Homestead Motor Speedway in 2008 when it finished in only 1:32.8 seconds! Who's going to shake a stick at that?

For a high performance race car with great handling, the Stalker V6 is definitley commanding some sex appeal. It has a beautifully styled body that gives it the look of an American Hot Rod with the heritage of its muse, the legendary Lotus 7 still in tact. Made from a hand laid fiberglass and aluminum body, this is a tough, lightweight and spectacular looking vehicle. It has the look of an elegant car but is relatively maintenance free so it will certainly deserve a second look if you are serious about your kit car replicas.
