You can never miss out Koenigsegg CCX while talking about super
sports cars with glamour! CCX referring to Competition Coupe X,
is the new model by Koenigsegg launched in 2006 on the
anniversary date of Koenigsegg. One word for this car is –
SUPERB! It’s just an outstanding car that leaves you all
contented! Style, speed, horsepower and comfort are all
integrated within this car.
What’s cool about this car?
The question should what’s not cool about this car! The entire body is made up of aluminum. You get fog lamps and front lamps, optimal headlights, brake cooling system and most of all the space within the headroom is of about 50 mm. that’s actually amusing because most of the sports car in this category don’t really have that much of space. It is one of the most spacious sports cars with that many features!
How about an engine that produces an output power of 806 bhp at just 6900 rmp? Isn’t that amusing? That’s not enough! It produces 678 lb-ft torque at 5700 rpm! The engine comes with a capacity of 4700 cc and is capable of completing the 0-60 round in just 3.2 seconds!! That’s truly fast! Most of the sports cars out there do that in 4 seconds. It even gets better as soon as you find that there is a manual 6 speed transmission making it even more luring for sports car drivers! Who would want to drive such a car with an automatic gear? That’s such a turn-off! The top speed of this car is 256 mph so you can imagine how much fun you’ll be having with a manual transmission with that much of speed. By the way, don’t forget to put on your seat belts!
You don’t even have to worry about the tires smoking off! Well
they do smoke but they last long as well. The Koenigsegg comes
with carbon fiber wheels backed up with ceramic discs. These
ceramic discs have eight piston calipers just in front and at the
back they have six calipers.
On the front portion you get front lamps, fog lamps and optimal
headlights. If you are thinking that’s what will make your
experience worthwhile then you need to check this out – the
interior is equipped with leather seats, and air conditioning
system, a chic dashboard and is made up of carbon fiber. So
are you still thinking of a Ferrari? Well if you are then you
truly don’t know much about sports cars. Since its release, the
Koenigsegg has become one of the most eyed cars of all time. Its
short, it’s fast and its comfortable. You won’t even feel awkward
while driving it! Believe it or not, on your top speed you’d
actually feel as if you are sky nine! But that’s the catch! Don’t
be too excited because the car can really speed up so a bit of
caution is necessary here.
