Every muscle car enthusiast and it actually means ‘EVERY MUSCLE CAR ENTHUSIAST’ out there knows of the Mustang 1967. Its popularity was revived after being used by Nicholas Cage in the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. Yes! It’s that beloved Eleanor everyone was drooling over!

Believe it or not, not only Nicholas but every one of us fell in love with that car and since then it has become one of the most popular cars of all time. Its not that appearing in the movie made it that popular but the car already was a popular one and appearing in the movie just gave it a boost. It brought the car in front of the 21st generation and made it compete with the modern cars. What was the result? It did quite well! Thousands of kit replicas of the car were sold after that.

So what’s new in this reproduction model?

The Mustang shown in the video is a 100% brand new Mustang of 1967. Each and every part used in the reproduction is new. The car was created for SEMA 2007 in order to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the all time most popular muscle car – The 1967 Mustang!

Major features of this lovely lady…

If you have ever wanted to own a brand new Mustang then this is your chance. The car is integrated with a Boss block and a Boss head 347 w/5 speed. The car has 450 horsepower which of course is better than that in the original. It also features 4 wheel disc brakes, pinion steering and Power rack. Most of all, the car features a Currie 9 inch rear axle with 3.70 gears.

The exhaust placed in the car is a 2 ½ inches stainless dual exhaust along with JBA mufflers. To maintain that old school touch, there is a vintage Air A/C and heater in the car. The car in the video has 225 miles on it. Now, those are some major features of the car. Guess what? The cost of the car was set to be $70’000.

Exterior and details:

Overall, nothing is left untouched. Every inch of the car is new and has been kept exactly the same way as it was in the actual model. Unlike most of the kit cars, this one does not change anything. The color of the car is Brittany blue which you don’t really get to see in the newer models of Mustangs. So, of course it lives up to the old school style. The car also features an overhead council exactly the same on found in the actual Mustang back in the 60s. the only thing that has changed the bit is the seats. A slight change in the design was integrated by the folks at Classic Design Concept.

The best part is the trunk of the car. It gives you that typical old school look. There is noting placed in the trunk and it has been kept pretty much the same way as it was in the original Mustang. The paint job on the car is excellent. No waves and no flaws can be found in it. Of course certain things have been changed with the current stuff such as the radio panel but that doesn’t take away the Mustang 67 touch from the car.

Overall, this is one impressive reproduction of the 67 Mustang in the recent years.
