About

If you enjoy Kit cars and replicas then Grand Touring Sports Car Association has plenty of events and activities to keep you busy!
Formed by a group of people with a love for fast cars as a common factor, this club is for all those who enjoy owning, driving or just looking at fast cars!

There are no restrictions on car ownership. Members drive everything from Cobras to Jaguar XJ13s. Many of the members have cars that they built themselves or are currently in the process of building them. Others have bought their kit cars finished or almost finished.

So, the best thing about this club is the diversity of its members. There are many kit car brands; you will just have to check out the members’ area to be sure what kind you like.

This club basically swerves members living within the Detroit metro area. There’s lots of stuff to do for the members. The club holds regular meetings and various events throughout the year. It also publishes a monthly newsletter which is quite popular among the members who are just Kit Car crazy!

Whether you want to find an almost finished kit car or are thinking of building one up from scratch, the members re at the club provides all sorts of information and help to get you started. You can even talk to other members and find out their preferences. The meetings are great for networking and you will find the people to be willing and helpful every time you got car troubles.

Informal dinners and meetings are held every month for members. GTSCA is for everyone who loves cars especially kit cars. If you enjoy building, driving or simply displaying your automobile then this is your club.
The club is very structured and organized nicely. There is a board of directors presided over by Jim Snyder while Ed Kemp is the Vice President. There are secretaries, a historian and of course what club can do without a treasurer. All the events are well planned. GTSCA is organized with a firm schedule and a firm understructure. This is why this cub has managed to survive for so long.

Grand Touring Sports Car Organization is registered as a non profit organization in the state of Michigan. So if you are living in and around this area and need help selecting or building the kit car of your dreams, just remember that GTSCA members have all the knowledge and expertise you will ever need… and then some!

There is a whole lot of car talent in the club. All you need to do is drop them an email and you will soon find someone willing to assist you in your projects. Just don’t forget to leave your contact info.

GTSCA website also has a shopping area. It contains some pretty cool things. You definitely need to check it out if you are looking for cool car merchandise.

Kit car clubbing is not a new trend but it takes a certain type of level headedness to run a successful car club. TSCA has stood the test of time and is one of the best clubs around.
