Ho Ho Ho! Christmas is right around the corner and a secret project in Santa’s workshop might just become a dream come true for those 8-12 year old kids who always wished they could be a “real racecar driver.” This is one cool little car and I wouldn’t call it a “toy”. This is actually a serious luxury electric car for kids who are ready to be seen as an adult and ride along with Mom or Dad until they retire the car to its collector’s status. It qualifies as a collector’s item because it’s absolutely hand made but just sized down to be 2/3 the size of the real thing. It has extremely detailed components and is put together with superb quality and safety.
All you have to do is look at this dream come true and you will see that the elves would never be able to put this together. What you have here is absolute realism and Santa better be a qualified mechanic if this gift is going to come off as a success. There is a quality design that goes right back to the era of the sixties and even the interior is made of real leather upholster. It can be fully carpeted with an aluminum center console and aircraft type rivets in the interior panels. There’s even a racing type steering wheel, adjustable seats and even some chromed plated racing- type pedals. The suspension, the brake system and the steering mechanism have all been specially designed with weight considerations taken into account and safety was put at the forefront of the construction.
In terms of exact specs from Santa’s workshop, the FR Roadster E is roughly 8 feet 9” long and 3 feet 11” wide. The height is 2 feet 10” and ground clearance is 4”. This little bad boy only weighs 600 pounds so a few strong Santas could pretty much lift it onto a set of blocks if they needed to. The FR Roadster E is also equipped with an advanced, 36 volts copper wound, DC electric motor with a power output of 2.7 hp. It incorporates a gear train and differential in proper fashion so that the complete assembly provides good acceleration and a top speed of 15 mph. Hey, you don’t need your 8 year old driving any faster than that! Do I hear Santa Claus scratching his beard now? It shouldn’t be long before you head out to the old workshop and start planning this Christmas gift. It is going to be an event the family will never forget.
