The European Kit Car Show starts the season of Kit car events in UK. And what an outclass start it is!
Although kit cars have been around from the very beginning of automobile industry, it was around in 1950 that kit car fever took over the whole Europe by storm. And, during the past few decades, UK has emerged as the kit car capital.
There are an enormous number of people who prefer kit cars over factory assembled cars. For most people, it is even better than a fully customized car. First of all, it saves a lot of buying and customizing cost. Secondly, it is as easy to build as any other DIY project.
Taking in view, this ever so increasing craze and passion about kit cars, many kit car shows are held across the world. UK is one of the destinations most visited by kit car fans as it hosts some of the best kit car shows around.
Held on the Kent county showground in Detling, the European Kit car show has made itself one of the most prestigious kit car events. Last year, it celebrated its 20th anniversary on the same ground. It was an event to remember as it featured some of the best kit car wonders.
The show was participated by around 35 manufacturers and 30 kit car clubs from across UK. Yet, the best part for a true enthusiast was more than 400 privately owned kit cars that ranged from classy hot rods to the modern marvels. From the 1930’s styled Beauford Tourer to the extremely futuristic Rayvolution EVO, there was something for everyone.
Robin Hood, Aeon Sportscars,Sebring, Tifosi, Deauville, Pilgrim Cars, Quantum, Blaze sports, BGH Kitcars, DJ sportscars, GKD Sportscars Sports Cars, Hawk Cars, Beauford Cars, Raw Engineering, Adrenaline, Tiger Racing, Tonic and MK Sportscars are among the most well known manufacturers who are now a regular participator in The European Kit Car Show
As the event ended with the visitors drooling for more, the next years event was promised to be held at the same venue with even better collection. Anticipating really the best, one can expect even greater number of cars and clubs. Private kit car builders have always been unpredictably imaginative concepts, and this time too they are going to surprise the visitors with their jaw dropping masterpieces.
