The most anticipated of all the kit car events is bound to hit Exeter by the end of October. Exeter kit car and builder show is this year’s last chance for all the kit car enthusiasts to sooth their eyes with number legends under single roof. As the last kit car event of the year, the Exeter Kit car and Builder Show will showcase this year’s best of the best line up.
Kit car industry had taken over the European automobile industry by storm. Not only they are inexpensive than the originals, they fulfill the desire to craft a masterpiece with your own sweat and efforts. UK being the centre of kit car lovers around Europe, hosts a number of such events. Yet, the Exeter Kit car and Builder show is considered the most prestigious among all.
The kit car show not only features the replicas of legends and classics but also modern and latest cars. There are many manufacturers who are selling hand built models. So, for those who don’t have much time to built their cars can get one built for them. The performance of these cars keeps getting better and better as many have proven to be a tough challenge for other cars on roads and tracks.
Last year’s kit car and builder show was an ultimate success. One of the best head turners included the Furore F1, a unique F1 kit car which is more like a look alike rather than a replica. The car delivers an excellent performance by hitting 0 to 60 in just 3 sec. except for the steering rack and lower column the whole kit is donated by Toyota.
Another worth mentioning entrée was the AGM-WLR which made the whole Le Mans experience come to life. With an extremely well-crafted exterior and interior, the engine itself makes this car a mean machine on the road.
Making its launch on last years show was the much appreciated Tiger Aviator. A stunning piece of art and a mind blowing feat of engineering, tiger was really a show stealer. The car was a star performer as its makers were pretty careful about the whole aerodynamic thing. The enthusiasts loved it and if you are really want some more of this tiger, this year has a lot in box.
Among other unforgettable mentions are the Zero, AK-427 and the MEV Missile. There were about a hundred more kit cars to watch for. For all those who have been there, it would be hard to resist the temptation to re-visit this year as well. For all those who couldn’t make it last time, the beauties await you this October.
