Minotaur Mk2 Created By A Real Greek God

Another mythological creature races towards us from atop Mount Olympus and she is known as the Minotaur Mk2.  With the god-like power of a Chevy 350bhp 5.7L engine, this car will take no prisoners. She also has a true mythology behind her which makes you wonder if she wasn’t really designed by a Greek god.

The Minotaur was originally brought to life by its creator, John Forakis who’s been designing and building god-like creatures like this since the early days when he left the homeland in Greece.  That’s no joke!  Forakis started his education in Greece just like Zeus and the other great Olympians and he now models his cars after their mythological creatures like the Minotaur.  John really did create the Minotaur with an Olympian set of both engineering qualifications and enthusiasm. The Minotaur is both a race car and a road car which means it combines two beasts into one just like the mythological creature it was named for. It also comes in two forms as either a fully built Turnkey car or as a kit for the home builder.

The company, out of the UK, offers excellent customer care as their turnkey cars are covered by twelve month parts and labor warranties.  They also include a visit to the local ‘Pro-drive’ where they will teach you how to drive on the ‘Track and Skid Pan’. If you decide to go out on a limb and build your own kit car, there are A/B/C/D and F packages and they will loan out a technician for a day to either help you with the build or check over the finished car. All you have to pay are the expenses of food, travel and accommodation if you don’t already have a friend living nearby. You also get full telephone technical backup.

The Minotaur Mk2 goes for around $US 45,000 which isn’t too bad for such a powerful car as this. It’s nice to know you can get involved in the world of kit cars without being a millionaire. Take your leftover cash and drive her back to Mount Olympus where you might just meet the real creator who first brought her to life.
