Do I Hear The Lola T70 Replica Rumbling?

Tagged:  •    •    •

The Lola T70 Replica is, as you would expect, a gorgeous looking car - sleek and sporty from nose to tail. It is modeled after the  "fastest race car" winner, back in 1966. The win took place at the Riverside Can-AM 1966 Championship Race. Winning the title in that race is attributed to a man by the name of John Surtees, who ultimately brought the entire racing team together. Only two very exclusive, limited edition versions of this were ever produced.

The Shelby Daytona Coupe Is Worth It's Weight In Gold

Tagged:  •

Have you ever wanted to buy your very own version of the Shelby Daytona Coupe? Unsurprisingly, most people would answer that with a "yes". But when you then go on to ask them if they have a few million dollars stored away under the bed, the look of glee soon vanishes.

Unfortunately, there were only about 6 of these original cars every produced, meaning that if you were to buy an original today - you would no doubt be up for a price tag in the 7 figure range. But why argue with your bank manager, when you could just conjure up about 85,000 pounds, and have yourself a modern day replica?

The Curvaceous & Glamorous Cobra Inspired Replica

Tagged:  •    •

On first glance, the G350 Cobra inspired Replica looks as if its been for a ride underneath an oversized rolling pin. Long, slender, and with curves in all the right places, the identity of the car is certainly worthy of praise. But it's not until you're able to get up close and personal with the G350 that you truly understand the design and brainpower behind the creation of this replica.

When I came face to face with the Cobra for the first time - I was possibly unfortunate enough to encounter it from the most imposing angle - the front. Unless you were a hundred percent sure that it was a mechanical vehicle parked up, you might be reminded of childhood horrorish nightmares - the ones where you were gobbled up by a scary monster.

For some people, whipping out to the local super car showroom to purchase a brand spanking new McLaren SLR may simply be all but an inconvenience. However, for those who are unable to afford the six figure price tag, the SLR McLaren Replica may just be the next best (and affordable) thing! Indeed, as our friends so aptly pointed out in their YouTube video (see the link at the bottom), converting a Mercedes C126 in to an SLRMcLaren is actually quite possible!

Thank You Mr. Bizzarrini For The Bizzarrini P538 Prototype (Video)

Tagged:  •

It's time to take a trip down memory lane once again - this time all the way back to 1966. It was at this time that a famed sports car designer, Mr. Giotto Bizzarrini designed a classic car which would go on to take the world by storm.

This initial design was based upon complementary ideas from a whole host of areas. For example, Bizzarrini was surely influenced by the Ferrari line of cars as he worked there for 5 years. In fact, in 1962 he was single handedly responsible for the design and engineering of the Ferrari 250 GTO.

Feel The Power In The Tesla Electric Roadster (Video)

Tagged:  •

There seems to be a very strong line of thinking out there in the real world - that the equation: electric + car, equals something not so impressive. Certainly, this was the case a few years ago, when the electric fuel cell failed to generate enough acceleration to please motoring enthusiasts. These days though, the Tesla Electric Roadster is proving these old style opinions wrong, and is literally changing the face of motoring efficiency with each and every new design.

Construct A Lamborghini Countach Kit Car With Your Television

Tagged:

Alright - so let me just start of by saying that you won't be able to conjure up a Lamborghini Countach Kit Car by dismantling your television - as much as we would all love to. Unfortunately, you are still going to have to buy the appropriate parts, tools, and instructions in order to get things going. Yes - that will involve splurging in to your bank account, and will probably set you back a few thousand dollars (depending on the kit package option you go with). So, I have probably left you wondering what the deal is with the television then, haven't I? Well, put it this way - if you have a TV handy, you will be able to see step by step instructions thanks to the helpful crew at Euro Works Exotic.
